Plans

What's included

  • The morning check-in

One text every morning at the time they chose, and a reply that reaches you as written.

  • The question about their life

One a day, answered at a link or by text, kept in their own words under its topic.

  • Up to four in their circle

Each confirms their own phone. No charge per person.

  • The days with no reply

The second text, the message to the main contact, the message to the next person. The whole sequence, with a person deciding at the end.

  • The week, every Sunday

Every reply and every answer, by email, to everyone in their circle. Kept permanently in the archive.

  • A person on the phone

Someone answers. Seven days a week, 8am to 8pm Eastern.

Compared with the alternatives

These are the things families usually weigh against each other. Each is better than us at something, so here it is plainly.

Questions about paying

How does the free trial work?

Fourteen days from the morning after setup, with no card to start. On the last day you decide. If you continue, you add a card then; if not, the messages simply stop.

When am I charged?

Add a card during the fourteen days and the first charge comes the day the trial ends, then on the same date each month. Add it after the trial has ended and the charge comes at once, then monthly from that day.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from the account page or by phone. The messages run to the end of the month you have paid for, then stop. Nothing already written is erased; the archive stays yours.

Who pays?

The person who set up the account, usually a son or daughter. Nobody in the circle is charged, and the person answering never sees a bill.

What happens if a card fails?

We email you and try again. If it cannot be resolved, the messages pause until it is; nobody in the circle is told and the person answering is never told anything about payment.

Is there anything else to buy?

No. A printed book of the year's answers is planned and will be its own decision, later. Nothing is sold inside the messages.

Fourteen days, then decide

The first message goes out the morning after setup. No card until you choose to continue.
